Introducing (Mama) Kasumi (Cos009)

Conception: I want to make Christie look.... wait! This isn't Christie! I call shenanigans! Okay, I thoroughly blame the work of Dante-564 for the tag of 'Mama Kasumi' for her in this costume. Can't remember which strip where I saw the reference (might have been a comment) but it has stuck with me ever since...

Method: XPS: Load model, apply a pose, open Material editor for texture references.
Blender: Import model into model library, remove doubles from all meshes, smooth non-hair meshes, use Material editor to set up nodes. Copy model to backdrop layer, import pose, adjust positioning of model, adjust camera parameters, adjust backdrop colour, adjust lighting intensity, render.

Commentary: On a break from trying to figure out transparency for Christie's sake (and Rachel's for that matter) and wanted to go with an idea or two I have in mind. Had an idea for Momiji and Rachel, but then... this! I decided to go with Mama Kasumi. Nothing special really, just the usual pose importing differences shenanigans which remained true here for the lips. She's cheerier in XPS but for what I have in mind this somewhat more sad look suits her. What could be troubling Kasumi though? Thoughts on a postcard to... somewhere...

The only thing is I'm not entirely sure what's going on with the skirt. I put it down to reflection and possibly glossiness in the node set up; I should look to adjust the values for less gloss. I should also up the sampling too...
