Christie: Mandarin dress (3rd)[256 sample]

Conception: I want to make Christie look prettier!

Method: Continued from 2nd attempt. Set up an additional lamp and repositioned them. Increased sampling size. Render. Write. Submit!

Commentary: While the hair has been mostly sorted I felt the previous attempts were a little gloomily lit. So here is one where it is lighter. An additional light source will do that.

Took me a while to notice, but for some reason the dress clips through the leg in Blender. Perhaps it's the whole coordinate thing I've seen mentioned in various comments and explanations. This piece does use the same pose and adjustments I made in XNALara. A bit annoying... I suppose I could accept the possibility of the dress folding back on itself against her thigh.

The other thing is the apparent change in her expression. If you (yes, you) were to compare this render with the original XNALara picture I made, her expression is softer here. I know the angle is slightly different to the original but even changing the camera angle in XNALara the same softness isn't there. She still looks a little mean... Whether that's because of the rendering in Cycles or a slight change in the pose due to importing it I'm not entirely sure. What I am sure of are the little differences in how Blender handles the same pose file.

In all honesty, I like her expression here more.
